Max: a movie review

Do you love dog movies? Better yet, do you love heroic dog movies? If yes, then Max is for you!

MAXPosterLast Monday, June 22nd, Warner Bros. Pictures generously donated free passes to Release the Hounds for the prescreening of Max! As you can imagine, we were all extremely excited!

Picture this, our Release the Hounds team, nestled in our comfy Cineplex seats with popcorn and treats in tow, preparing for the unexpected twists and turns of Max’s journey. We made sure there were extra tissues, you know, just in case.

Without giving too much away, here is the quick low down on Max. A loyal and hardworking precision trained military dog is tested when his handler is tragically killed while on a mission in Afghanistan. Eventually taken in by his previous handler’s teenage brother and family who live in America, adventure is an understatement. After some hard lessons, they all realize that loyalty and persistence can go a long way.

If you have not already gone to see it, you are in luck! Max is now in cinemas for everyone to watch!
